Identifying Orderable Laboratories Your Concert Genetics primary contact will provide you with a list of laboratories that are orderable within the Concert platform for your institution. All Concert Genetics partner laboratories will be listed as orderable. For non-partner laboratories, the lab must go through an internal preparation process to be listed as orderable, and the Concert Genetics team will continue to update your list as more orderable laboratories become available. Within the marketplace, you will be able to identify laboratories as either:
- Partners: Identified by a blue line and shopping cart icon
- Orderable only: Identified by shopping cart icon only
- Non-Orderable: Have neither a blue line nor a shopping cart icon
Order History Indicator The Order History Indicator icons help users track and display the order history for all tests within that category. The shade of the Indicator will change based on order volume and how recently the last test was ordered (a darker indicator signifies larger test volume and more recent order).
Preferred Test Ordering Relationships The Concert Platform provides institutions with the ability to communicate preferred test ordering options at both the laboratory and individual test level. For laboratory relationships, labs can be identified as either preferred or restricted. Next to the laboratory name, preferred laboratories are identified with a check mark, and restricted laboratories are identified by the ban symbol.
At the individual test level, the Concert Platform also allows you to select preferred tests. This is a helpful tool in documenting and changing ordering behavior, as it can be used to either support or contradict the Order History Indicators. Preferred tests are identified by the checkmark, but the checkmark is next to the test instead of the lab.
Detailed Test Information To access detailed information about a test, click on the button for the corresponding test and laboratory. Included in the details are: test name, test technique, description, CPT codes, price, turn-around-time, methodology, sample preparation and shipping conditions, and whether prenatal testing is available for that test.
On the bottom right corner of the details box, you will find the date the information was last modified by the laboratory along with a link to "Report as Inaccurate" if an inaccuracy is identified.
